Wes Streeting: “The continuing attacks from the Houthis on our ally Saudi Arabia are absolutely despicable.”

This is worth reporting to the house; Pete Hegseth, my US counterpart, was keen to thank the United Kingdom for our leadership of Ukraine.

It is simply irresponsible, not to mention inaccurate, to suggest that the UK is incapable of defending the Falkland Islands.

These aircraft will operate in a defensive role and will not conduct offensive strikes against the Houthis.

RAF Typhoons will fly defensive air missions to help protect Saudi airspace from drones and missiles.
