The demand for spectrum... continues to grow with the pace of innovation among both private sector and Federal users.

As you know, FirstNet is an independent authority within NTIA tasked with the creation and operation of a Nationwide Interoperable Public Safety Broadband Network.

We rely heavily on the interstate system, all the Federal highways and both state and local roads, too, getting our goods to the marketplace, agricultural commodities.

The Spectrum Pipeline Act modified the Spectrum Relocation Fund... to help Federal agencies fund key R&D activities which could lead to freeing up more spectrum in the future.

I think the idea, and then we've been happy to see, AT&T has said that they will be able to get public safety users on their network as priority users as soon as the end of this year.

If confirmed, I will seek to implement long-term reforms for the regulation, funding, delivery, and maintenance of transportation infrastructure projects.
