I think everyone in the Senate Republican conference believes that. We all probably believe that here.

Look, I think that the way Republicans are viewing this presidential campaign is you have two parties, one is run by Donald Trump and one is run by largely the left wing, I think fringe of the House Democratic conference.

I wonder what do they had to lose. I mean, they have come this far.

I thought it was smart for the Republicans to call a Republican law professor who could say, look, I didn't vote for Donald Trump. I didn't support him all the time, but this is why impeachment being rushed is wrong.

I suspect they're going to impeach him over it and then Senate's going to acquit him.
