If Donald Trump -- if he makes 2022 a referendum on Trump, the Republicans are sunk. If he makes it a referendum on Biden, they could pick up yards.

What Nancy Pelosi here is doing is -- if you play chess, you know that move at the end of the game, where you try to shrink the space on the board... She is trying to force Republicans to make a choice, repudiate her or embrace her.

This is about to be a fantastic political science experiment in figuring out who actually runs a modern American party and specifically the Republican Party.

I invite your viewers to think, what will all of this be like in a few months if the speaker of the House is a Republican, which could well happen, and if the leadership of the House of Representatives and half -- and maybe the Senate too…
