Tony Perkins: “No one has unrestrained liberties in this country to marry whomever they want.”

This is about redefining marriage. It is not about what -- you try to compare this to interracial marriage. It is not the same thing.

Yesterday, in his speech, before the Notre Dame student body, the graduating class, he admitted that there -- there may not be common ground, there may not be a resolution, that we may have to agree to disagree.

The reality is the president has to choose between delivering to a radical but small and vocal portion of his base or keeping the support of a lot of moderates that he needs to pass other issues like health care reform.

The reality is that kids need a mom and a dad. That is what marriage is about.
