We are pleased to participate with the Oglala Sioux Tribe to recover these Wounded Knee lands.

The land at Wounded Knee is sacred, as 300 or more of our ancestors lay buried there. The land needs to be respected as a memorial site no different than Arlington National Cemetery.

Our people suffered a lot. Our people serve this country. I am also a proud veteran, a combat veteran. And now I am fighting for my people, my tribe, and I will continue to do that.

We urge Congress to quickly pass this bill and respectfully ask President Biden to sign it into law.
