Frank Star Comes Out: “The Wounded Knee Massacre Memorial and Sacred Site Act is the next step in the healing process.”

We thank our South Dakota Senators and Congressman, Dusty Johnson, for their leadership on this important matter concerning Wounded Knee.

Our people suffered a lot. Our people serve this country. I am also a proud veteran, a combat veteran. And now I am fighting for my people, my tribe, and I will continue to do that.

We urge Congress to quickly pass this bill and respectfully ask President Biden to sign it into law.

The time for politically correct statements has long since passed.
