The CDC has become a political tool that increasingly peddles ideology instead of science, ideology that will lead to severe health consequences.

President Trump’s mass firing of CDC doctors and scientists — and his blatant politicization of the agency — is a direct assault on the health and safety of the American people.

While I will always listen if called to serve our country, no formal offers have been made.

Andrew Cuomo is a snake and a liar. I am in this race, and I’m the only one who can beat Mamdani.

If Donald Trump is serious about this, he should come to New York City; we can have as many debates as he wants about why he’s cutting SNAP benefits for hungry New Yorkers just to fund tax cuts for his billionaire donors.

Let’s cut out the middleman.

We’re seeing shooters becoming younger and younger. We’re seeing the direct results of some of the laws that we have passed – some of the actions, both in Albany and in the City Council.

Boston is a thriving community, the economic and cultural hub of New England, and the safest major city in the country — but this administration is intent on attacking our community to advance their own authoritarian agenda.

This unconstitutional attack on our city is not a surprise.

If Donald Trump is serious about intervening in the mayoral race, he should come to New York City and debate me directly about why he’s cutting SNAP benefits for hungry New Yorkers to give tax breaks to his wealthy donors.

The difference between this 20-day period of this federal surge and last year represents an 87% reduction in carjackings.

We greatly appreciate the surge of officers that enhance what MPD [the Metropolitan Police Department] has been able to do in this city.

The people of this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny and if that’s necessary, I believe the people of Chicago will stand firm.

Are you prepared to defend this land that was built by slaves?

The safety of our public officials should never be subject to erratic, vindictive political impulses.

This puts the former vice president in danger and I look forward to working with the governor to make sure Vice President Harris is safe in Los Angeles.

None of it has to do with the welfare of this city. It all has to do with power.

None of this has to do with New Yorkers.

We are talking about a mayor who was facing an indictment that was then dropped by this administration to ensure greater collaboration with the immigration directives of this administration now being considered for a job offer.

Today, we have learned what New Yorkers have long suspected, that Andrew Cuomo is Donald Trump’s choice to be the next mayor of this city.

That is why so many New Yorkers are turned off by our politics, because they see no relevance of their struggles in the conversations that are taking place.

But this is an affront to our city’s democracy. This is an affront to the values that make so many of us proud to be Americans — that we could choose our own leaders, not that our leaders pick themselves or their friends.
