I want the people of the city of New York to know that they want to continue to move us forward.

You can’t freeze rent at NYCHA. You can’t freeze rent at Mitchell Llama apartments. You can’t freeze rent at market rate.

I don’t want us to go backwards, and Zohran and the DSA will take us backwards.

There’s one major obstacle we have and that’s Zohran.

Now everyone’s jumping over each other — Louisiana, all these conservative states — trying to get in on this, which is sort of interesting and I think wonderful at the same time.

No one understood it when we started talking about Skittles. Somehow everyone got upset and offended.

It’s a movement that should unite all of us, regardless of political stripes.

What I can say is that I’m appreciative of the fact that it’s on the ballot and that New Yorkers have a chance to weigh in.

I’m continuing to have those conversations.

I wanted to come here and talk about tourism and see how we can assist in utilizing not only my next few months in office, but even after office of getting a direct flight from New York City to Albania.
