I’m going to remain local here in local politics and local solutions.

This has been a great experience, and I think that we should share what we have accomplished.

I don’t want our city to slip into a state that we’re witnessing in Europe and across the country.

I’m looking forward to improving cities across the globe.

I want to go back to school. Number one, I’d like to get my doctorate.

What I’ve said is that I think it’s time to remove much of the politics out of the question of accountability.

You know, we’re going to turn over the city in good shape for good initiatives and good programs, and the next administration will have to make a determination on what they are going to do with the excellent conditions we are leaving the…

What our transition team is going to do, we’re going to show all of these initiatives, and the next mayor will come in and then make a determination what they want to continue and what they want to bring to the table.

I’m not new to this fight. I know it well.

This new unit will handle the entire domestic violence process for victims.

We know we must do a better job of eradicating violence that we are seeing in our neighborhoods.

The second will be a mid-career track for New Yorkers, adults, who are looking to change careers.

The first will be an early college track that will look to work with high school students who will receive not only mentorship, but college credit, and then this $12,000 a year in tuition assistance.

It is a policy that will be a city wide initiative to train, to certify and to hire new teachers to create a pipeline from school to school to ensure that every year we are hiring an additional 1,000 new teachers.

This is a policy that addresses this shortage.

We’re going to pay for it by actually taking on the close to $10 billion a year that we are currently spending within our education system on contracts and consulting.

Frankly, this is an initiative that speaks to a desire that many have. It’s also an initiative that requires funding.

I know that these officers, these men and women who serve in the NYPD, they put their lives on the line every single day.

I’ll apologize to police officers right here because this is the apology that I’ve been sharing with many rank-and file-officers.

As parents and lawmakers, we refuse to stand idly by while our schools and communities are being threatened by illegal machine guns.

I gave you my blood, sweat and tears for 40 years and here’s who I think is going to take it forward.

It’s not just endorsing to say, hey anyone but Zohran.

I want to make sure that programs like this continue, you know, I want to hear real commitments.
