One of the best ways to celebrate the rich history and community of Harlem is to recognize the contributions of Malcolm X and the Harlem Renaissance to New York and to the world.

It amounted to using soldiers as props in the federal government’s propaganda machine.

But if the other states call off their redistricting efforts, we will happily do the same. And American democracy will be better for it.

If you will not stand down I will be forced to lead an effort to redraw the maps in California to offset the rigging of maps in red states.

This attempt to rig congressional maps to hold onto power before a single vote is cast in the 2026 election is an affront to American democracy.

You are playing with fire, risking the destabilization of our democracy, while knowing that California can neutralize any gains you can hope to make.

American democracy will be better for it.

I’m aligned with him that we need to find ways to make life more affordable for New Yorkers.

Donald Trump called up [Texas] Gov. Abbott for one simple reason: to rig the 2026 election.

We haven’t seen conditions like these since 2020.

We are talking about emergency measures to respond to what's happening in Texas – and we will nullify what happens in Texas.

What's happening in the United States of America is not normal. We cannot allow this to be considered normal.

We’re not Brown, we’re not Columbia, and I’m not going to be governor if we act like that. Period. Full stop. I will fight like hell to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I’m tired of fighting this fight with my hand tied behind my back.

They want to steal five seats? We’ll match and secure more—and turn the tables on their entire strategy.

If Texas wants to rig the maps, California will make sure they pay a price.
