That was totally ridiculous what happened in 2020, and our people really let us down.
The bills being signed into law today help every family and business in Georgia.
We’ve got $30 billions of corporate welfare that we’ve been doling out for over two decades. That’s where we need to address some of those issues. The ones that you don’t have a good rate of return on, you need to get rid of those.
I don’t have any personal business stake in the industry, but I’ve been accused of it, and my opponent, who’s not here tonight, and he does have ownership stake in data centers, but they’ve accused me, and they’re not true.
It just shows a man’s character when he won’t show up and take questions.
I am proud that we have cut taxes every year I've been Lt. Governor, and I want to thank Governor Kemp for leading the charge.
Tonight Georgia sent a clear message — you can’t buy this state and now, Georgia, it’s time to finish the drill.
Both Republican and Democrats, I don’t think they have that same grit about them to make sure that Georgia stays a red state, business-friendly state, and one that we’ll continue to love and raise our families in.
I look forward to continuing this great work, while giving every family a five percent raise through the complete elimination of our state income tax.
