He doesn’t even know. He said the Pentagon should do it. Wake up, Mr. President. I know he may have jet lag. It’s the Department of Energy. He doesn’t even know which agency is responsible for that.

Look, this is weakness masquerading in strength. This is classic Trump and Trumpism. This guy is historically weak, and these are acts of a weak person that is trying to appear strong.

The state budget would fully fund the $68.4 billion plan.

We’re not going to do those extraordinary measures like bringing back the legislature or taxes on people to make up for the federal government’s failure.

My message to Republicans in Washington: get back to work, restore the healthcare premiums, turn the federal government back on and start feeding hungry Americans once again.

We’re not going to be passive observers to this.

To ensure New Yorkers do not go hungry this holiday season.

This is serious, this is urgent — and requires immediate action.

That’s absolutely not true.

Some people think now we have to double down on those things or we must become more progressive or more extreme.

I am fast tracking $30 million in emergency food assistance funds to help keep food pantries stocked.

The impacts in their states, ironically, are disproportionate.

The narrative is going to shift: Democrats are finally now no longer on their back heels, they’re on their toes.

This is temporary, it’s transparent and it’s democratic.

They’re doing it as part of an intimidation strategy. They’re trying to suppress the vote.

Oh, you’re fired up, you’re fired up.

Right now, our city and our state and our country are under attack by Donald Trump and our Republicans in Washington.

I’ve got one plea for you. I love to see this energy and this passion. ... But take that energy, that passion, and take it into ’26 so that we can take back the House of Representatives, so we can take back the Senate, and we can take back…

I think the biggest challenge for anyone who runs for any office is people see right through you.

I think it’s about our democracy. It’s about the future of this republic.

Fate will determine that.

Yeah, I’d be lying otherwise.

The idea that a guy who got 960 on his SAT, that still struggles to read scripts, that was always in the back of the classroom – the idea that you even throw that out is, in and of itself, extraordinary.
