We want to make the cars here. They can make their own cars if they want and they can continue to make their cars for Canada. But we don't want them to make cars for the United States of America.

They don’t pay for anything, and they want to be treated like a state, but they’re not a state.

I am directing that the Lake officially be renamed as Lake America.

This country desperately needs aluminum. We don’t have it. We get it all from Canada for the most part, and we need it badly.

And if we don’t, our country is gonna be in sad shape because we’re gonna go through a lot of things.

If they go out and vote, we’re gonna win.

And finally, it's the purpose of this more than anything else is we're going to be changing the name of Lake Ontario, effective immediately to Lake America.

So if you think about it, we have a gulf and we have a lake. Now all we need is an ocean.

As you know, we took something called the Gulf of Mexico, we changed it, and now it's very routinely the Gulf of America.

I supported and ENDORSED two so-called 'underdogs' yesterday, one from South Carolina, and the other from Oklahoma, and they BOTH WON.

As he signed the order on Thursday in the Oval Office, Trump said it was not a direct message to Canada, but that America's northern neighbour 'has been ripping us off for a long time on trade'.
