We have more people eating beef than ever before. But if it is too expensive — unlike fuel, Benny — you can eat chicken, pork, salmon, eggs. There are other sources of really good protein, and all of those prices are coming down as well.

And I’m really, really proud of that.

We realize the price of groceries are too high, we are doing everything we can to bring them down after the Biden years of crazy, crazy inflation and we are making progress.

If beef is too expensive, you can eat chicken, eggs, other great sources of protein.

Today, we filed a proposal to restore authority to local forest managers who know the land best, removing the barriers that have kept them from doing the work the land demands.

For too long, outdated restrictions have kept tens of millions of forested acres off-limits to the very treatments that improve forest health and reduce wildfire risk to our communities.
