You never close the door to agreements or diplomacy because sometimes things change in the system.

We need to remember that when we talk. We’re not just talking about politicians here. We’re talking about people who are theologically driven to make the decisions that they make.

Imagine if they had a nuclear weapon and the ability to use that against their neighbors, against us, against the world. That can never happen.

These people can never have nuclear weapons.

At the core of all this – we talk about oil, we talk about the Straits of Hormuz – the central issue here is Iran is run by lunatic clerics, okay?
