It was determined by all that the best way to end the horrific war between Russia and Ukraine is to go directly to a Peace Agreement, which would end the war, and not a mere Ceasefire Agreement, which often times do not hold up.

We had some good meetings over the years, right? Good, productive meetings over the years, and we hope to have that in the future.

It hasn’t made us more effective. Hasn’t made us more lethal. Has made fighting more complicated.

I don’t want to call a national emergency, but if I have to, I will.

You can’t have 30 days.

So we’re going to need a crime bill. That we’re going to be putting in, and it’s going to pertain initially to DC.

Well, if it’s a national emergency, we can do it without Congress. But we expect to be before Congress very quickly.

Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin.

That's what we need New York City to do. We need LA to do that. We need Chicago to do that.

That's a great step if they're doing that. Yeah, I think that's going to happen all over the country. We want to stop crime.

And the best thing that could come out of this, frankly, is probably nothing, nothing agreed to, except a real strengthening of President Trump's understanding that Putin is not someone you can make a deal with an expect it to last.

I hope he's reminded of that. He is not meeting with a friend. He is meeting with an adversary, and an adversary who hopes to play him.
