I was an original cosponsor of the Senate version of this bill, and I commend my friends in the other body for passing this legislation by such a compelling majority. If we fail in our duty, we will justly earn the scorn of future generations when they ask why we stood idly by and did nothing in the face of this national infanticide. We must reaffirm our commitment to the sanctity of human life in all its stages.”
