the price of gasoline is the biggest issue in this country, and I appreciate the comments the Senator from Delaware made. However, the one-size-fits-all law is a little tough for this country. He probably doesn't realize we don't have any passenger trains or commuter trains anywhere in Wyoming. We used to, but they showed there wasn't enough use by changing the schedules so it always showed up 12 hours late, and most people weren't willing to wait 12 hours for a train. Then when you don't have the use, you can take the train out. A lot of people in our State don't just drive their car to be able to get to work. Driving their truck or their car is their work. And we have these huge miles between places. One of my experiences recently is that I was driving between some towns and I, unfortunately, didn't have enough gas to make it to the next town. So I started to fill my tank and the pump stopped at exactly $75. Now, I can't tell you the last time I got a pump to stop right on the numbers. It used to be pretty easy because you could squeeze the handle and get it to an even number. But now you squeeze the handle a little bit and it goes zap and up quite a few cents. But it cut off right at $75. I thought, I don't think that is enough to fill this tank. When I checked, it wasn't. So there are some limits the credit card companies or the pumps are not used to, where they cut off, and that is making it a very important issue in Wyoming and the rest of the Nation.
