As a conservative, as someone who believes it in and cares about the Constitution. I have thought deeply about this and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris.
I do think that if we come to a place where he's the speaker of the house, where the Republicans are in the majority on January 6th of 2025, there are real questions about whether or not that majority will do what's required under the constitution.
There's nothing in the tapes that can change the facts of what happened that day.
Delaying the January 6th trial suppresses critical evidence that Americans deserve to hear. Donald Trump attempted to overturn an election and seize power. Our justice system must be able to bring him to trial before the next election. SCOTUS should decide this case promptly.
