I am trying to get my amendment No. 4313 pending so we can have an up-or-down vote. It is unfortunate that this has been blocked. This amendment fixes flaws in the Cobell v. Salazar settlement, which is important to Indian country. These fixes will benefit thousands of class members involved in this suit. Congress has a responsibility, when they know legislation is broken, to fix it. The Cobell settlement legislation is no different. I will continue to raise this issue as long as the debate on this bill is occurring.
