I would say to my colleague, who is on the Budget Committee, who watches these things very carefully, as I look at what the President proposed, it never got to balance, it never even addressed dealing with the large deficit, let alone the monumental debt. In the time we have been talking here in the last 4 or 5 minutes, we have continued to borrow money from overseas, specifically from China. We in the United States are borrowing at a rate of $2 million a minute. Nothing I have seen coming from the President or from the Democrats, as a matter of fact, in the Senate has dealt with any of those things, to the point that we have not passed a budget for the last 3 years in this Senate, which is irresponsible.
