I second the comments of Senator Enzi. This is an egregious provision that was included at the last moment without any consultation of Senator Enzi or I. I am extremely disappointed that we have not been able to address this matter before the conference report was filed, and it is essential to fix it as soon as possible preferably in a technical corrections bill that will be drafted in the coming weeks but most certainly by the end of the year. This provision is not well thought out. It has the potential to impact not only Wyoming but a number of other States as well. I look forward to working with my colleagues to fix the provision in an expeditious manner.
