Pipeline infrastructure is critical for job creation.

My bill would help to streamline the permitting process for pipelines.

That is why I included language in the Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2016, which is actually in conference right now, which is the most comprehensive energy legislation we have done in years and very bipartisan.

It will export gas to countries like Japan and India, friendly countries to us, and will considerably lesson our reliance and their reliance on hostile countries that threaten the global security.

The ability to export liquefied natural gas, which I have been a supporter of, means more job opportunities here at home as well as abroad.

I hope we get the chance to vote for that conference committee.
