The fundamental principle of government is to build infrastructure, and the last time it was built was 118 years ago in Connecticut.

I have been working with a steadfast advocate of ESPCs, Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado, to advance the energy savings through Public/Private Partnerships Act.

That is why I recently introduced S. 1033 with Senator Alexander to ensure that QERs become codified into law.

Do you not think the taxpayers' dollars would be spent better if we got our veterans channeled for the quickest amount of care and the best care, wherever that may be?

If there is incompetency at any level, it seems like VA has a hard time getting rid of that.

We seem to jump out of the fire into the frying pan. It keeps going on, back and forth, the problems that we are running into.

It seems like we are all having problems understanding why no one is being held accountable or actions have not been taken against the responsible parties.

We know they are very addictive and people are getting hooked overnight.

These are drugs out of the medicine cabinet and they are just being abused.

I would have said let us give Ukrainian all the weapons.

I think those are dynamics that we are not trying--we are not leveraging, and we should be leveraging.
