Under this bill, for my district, the Virgin Islands, the Medicaid cap would be increased by an overall $756 million over six years.

The exclusion of all of the territories from Medicaid DSH... has been a major health issue in the territories for many years.

I urge the committee to support this bill that would allow Medicaid reimbursements for doulas and midwives to combat maternal mortality.
