Cathy, I know the decisions you're asked to make in Congress might be difficult ones, but if you do what you believe in your heart is right for the people back at home, then I know goodness will triumph.

I don't think you can point to another leader that we have been blessed with in our Nation's history that combines such a strong heart for his people with such a strong backbone for constitutional democracy.

This is a man who stood for the Constitution and civility, from day one of his congressional career to the last day of his last term.
