This is a man who stood for the Constitution and civility, from day one of his congressional career to the last day of his last term.

It is my hope that we all remember and learn from the example of Speaker Foley that civility is a virtue, that compromise is not weakness, and that it is possible for persons of good will to disagree without being disagreeable.
