I think very disturbing to me, that $1.3 billion in taxpayer money is potentially going to be continued for an agency that has wasted that money as far as we can see from everything that has been put forward.
I would have really liked to ask him questions, especially given that FedLoan's performance under its contract with the Department of Education has, frankly, been abysmal.
I do think it is unfortunate that the CEO of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency... is not here.
It was a promise, it was a contract, people followed the rules and then at the end of the game, they were told that they didn't qualify.
