In my home State of Washington, like every other State, fentanyl has had a profound and devastating impact.

Insulin is a particularly egregious example of what has happened with drug pricing in our country.

And that has moved it from being a medicine that is affordable and life-saving to unaffordable and life-threatening.

This is a really big deal. I want to, you know -- how do I communicate how much insulin is in a bottle. And I thought I would just bring one bottle out and show you it is tiny. There is two teaspoons that fit in a bottle of insulin.

What teeth does the commission have, what more can they do to help shipping, and what more can Congress do?

It is a really big deal to make sure that our workforce stays healthy and can do their jobs.

The second amendment I put forward in that bill would increase funding that police departments can use to hire mental health professionals.

My proposed amendment to the Commerce, Justice, and Science government funding bill would help police departments pay for body-worn cameras.

I do not believe in defunding the police and have never supported any effort to do so.

All departments should have access to the training they need in de-escalation, in the proper use of nonlethal tactics.

Programs that build community relationships with police departments renew trust in these institutions, keeping both officers and community Members safer.

Tying these together, which some of my colleagues are doing, is misleading, it is fearmongering.
