We have improved our competitive edge against China.

NAFTA has given us a huge advantage in creating an integrated production base and supply chain.

It has reduced barriers to our exports, and allowed American businesses to sell goods and services more freely.

NAFTA has transformed the United States and North American economy.

But Washington workers, farmers, and businesses cannot be left behind as other countries race to establish strong bilateral and regional agreements that carve us out.

Every Member on this panel will tell you that trade is critical to their home State, and I am here to tell you that is true of Washington State.
