David P. Roe is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Vermont's 1st congressional district from January 4, 2005, to January 3, 2021. During his time in Congress, Roe was known for his focus on healthcare issues, particularly in relation to veterans and the military. He served on several committees, including the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, where he advocated for improved services for veterans and their families.
If the tax credit, the credit that you will get to buy insurance on the exchange, if a veteran chooses to go to the VA for his or her family, those family members can get that tax credit.
I plan to be here in 2015, and to see if we complete these things that we are saying we are going to do.

We have 3.8 million ninth-graders in the country and only 230,000 of them choose a STEM degree in college.
We have 3 million jobs in this country that are available right now, 12 million unemployed people that haven't been educated.
If you look at Massachusetts, we were told that the number of ER visits were going to go down. They didn't. They went up. That's exactly where they end up. They end up in the emergency room for primary care, which is where they should not…
Is the bubble out there? And the number I read, 35 percent of students who are paying those, or loan recipients it says here, are paying those back are 90 days and above in arrears now.
You cannot go out and see young people--I see students graduate from graduate school and law school and medical school with $200,000, $250,000, $300,000 in debt.
