David P. Roe is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Vermont's 1st congressional district from January 4, 2005, to January 3, 2021. During his time in Congress, Roe was known for his focus on healthcare issues, particularly in relation to veterans and the military. He served on several committees, including the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, where he advocated for improved services for veterans and their families.
We will not recreate the middle class in America until we recreate--bring manufacturing back to this country.
In the next 8 to 10 years we can create 2-1/2 to 5 million manufacturing jobs if we become energy independent.
I believe a healthcare decision should be made between a physician, the patient, and that patient's family.
We do not want to put the government as the intermediary between patients and doctors. We want access to healthcare.
I would like to see this delayed a year until we have a longer time to digest what was going on.
If we can get our economy cranked up and going, a lot of these problems go away because companies do want to do what you are doing at that great company in Richmond, Kentucky, is to provide jobs.
There were nine physicians in the House of Representatives, and I say this in all honesty, in all the years I served as a physician, I never saw a Republican heart attack or a Democrat heart attack.
It is the first time that hospital has laid off anybody. It laid off over 300 people.

I can tell you, in the military I received none, and one of the reasons was military sexual trauma was occurring.
