I think that is a good thing to do, but I think the other thing I learned today is we need to go a step further.

David P. Roe is a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Vermont's 1st congressional district from January 4, 2005, to January 3, 2021. I think the decision has been made in our community and I am ready to yield back is that we are going to have SROs.
There is no question. And in Tennessee, we have a gentleman who lives in Greenville, Tennessee, Scott Niswonger, who personally took it upon himself to improve the educational outcomes of people in rural east Tennessee and the mountains.
It was not acceptable to say that these children couldn't achieve what other kids could.
I think technology can do is it can take off the 50 pound pack that my 9 year old grandchild has to walk around with.
Instead of kids getting all in a twit and teachers getting all in a twit when May comes, and nobody does anything--we are teaching all that stuff.
How do you pay your teachers 30 percent more? And how do you get the best teachers?
I think that there is a difference between using the power of that clause to assert your political point of view and paralyzing the executive branch.
I do think that we absolutely do need a functioning National Labor Relations Board.
