The Public Record

Coolidge's presidency is often associated with the economic prosperity of the Roaring Twenties, and he famously advocated for a hands-off approach to the economy, believing that government should interfere as little as possible in the lives of citizens and businesses.

The effort has been to improve the public service by elimination of waste and lost motion and by constructive conservation of our resources.
So that I very reluctantly came to the conclusion that it was necessary to have this done.
