Mr. Chairman, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of division B (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. ___. The Budget Analysis Division of the Congressional Budget Office, comprising 89 employees with annual salaries aggregating $15,000,000, is hereby abolished. The duties imposed by law and regulation upon the employees of that Division are hereby transferred to the Office of the Director of the Congressional Budget Office. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 473, the gentleman from Virginia (Mr. Griffith) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Virginia.
