The American biopharmaceutical industry leads the world.

No one disagrees with funding the Veterans Administration.

People are upset and they're justifiably frustrated. They're out of work. The economy is not moving. Their sense of security for the future is not clear at all. People are afraid and I get it.

Now while I intend to serve out my term as a member in Congress, effective July 31st I will be stepping down as majority leader. It is with great humility that I do so knowing the tremendous honor it has been to hold this position.
