A strong and healthy patent system is important to the economy, and to American technological leadership.
There is really no excuse for what the oil cartels have gotten away with over the years.
They need to promote free speech, not stifle it.
Such patents harm innovation by blocking off broad areas of endeavor, and not giving inventors enough room to innovate.
