The gentleman will be pleased to know that tomorrow we will consider on the floor of this House legislation that, under rule XI, would impose mandatory sanctions on attorneys who engage in the type of activity he just described. That is an abuse as well. It will be covered by that legislation. But this legislation is appropriate to make sure that justice is done in class action litigation. Mr. Chairman, I urge my colleagues to oppose this amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR.
