I think it's a ridiculous assertion given that my opponent has been eager to claim credit for some of the funding that came through some of those federal dollars to Virginia's Commonwealth.

Governors are very, very good, historically and typically, standing up and stating plain all the things they want from the federal government.

It is a chaotic circumstance coming out of this White House and this administration, and it is deeply, deeply damaging to real people and real jobs and real families.
I’m going to continue to push lawmakers in both parties to stand up for Virginians, to stand up for Virginia jobs, to stand up for Virginia’s economy and, frankly, to be proactive in planning ahead for what’s coming down the road.
For them, it's a kitchen table issue. But the impact. The idea that we would have a president, and a governor who is standing by and said president says we're going to push them out of the workforce.
Virginia parents — and their children — deserve a Governor who is laser-focused on making Virginia’s K-12 schools the best in America.
This bill is directly responsive to the concerns I have heard from farmers across Virginia about administrative burdens placed on Farm Credit institutions.
