The right to vote is foundational to who we are as Americans.

Ideally it can be a model for what we do in other places.

It’s unfortunate that they’re choosing to sue the commonwealth of Virginia. But we will continue to defend it because ultimately the law is about saving lives.

I do not want to see us move in a place where we think, as a commonwealth, we’re on path towards meeting the VCEA goals but that’s because there’s all this generation that is sort of outside of the scope of what is counted.
