The American people should never doubt that when we’re getting a classified briefing about a virus percolating on the other side of the world and what it might mean for us here in the United States, the American people should never consider or worry that we might be using that information to benefit ourselves.
I want to thank you for highlighting it for so long, and highlighting not just the importance of this legislation, but the importance to the American people.
I continue to be of the mindset that I am going to build the largest coalition around this idea around our legislation that I possibly can build.
