Our nation is broken.

We can always point the finger at the other side, and at some point we have to find an off-ramp, or it's going to get much, much worse.

Is this the end of a dark chapter in our history, or the beginning of a darker chapter in our history?

And yet, all of us have an opportunity right now to do something different.

There is one person responsible for what happened here, and that person is now in custody and will be charged soon and will be held accountable.

I still believe that there is more good among us than evil.

We cannot do our job without the public’s help

More than 7,000 tips have been provided to the FBI in the manhunt for Charlie Kirk’s killer. The agency has not seen a number that large since the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.

We pray that God will bless our nation at this very dark time, we can start healing by finding this perpetrator and holding him accountable. And we need your help to do that.

I just want to remind people that we still have the death penalty in the state of Utah.

We will bring to justice the individual responsible for this tragedy.
