By all means we should debate whether some of these tax expenditures, such as the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction ought to exist.

I'm not OK with communities like the one I'm from, the Mon Valley of western Pennsylvania, being sacrificial lambs in the name of continued fossil fuel exploration.
