I want to shout out and thank you both.

I would like to discuss my bill, H.R. 2740, establishing an Office of Colonia Affairs within the Department of Agriculture.

This hearing is a very brazen effort to provide political cover to my Governor, Government Greg Abbott, who has unconstitutionally used State resources to try to impose the State's own immigration policies and laws.

Instead, what we are doing here today is advancing a crackpot legal argument that is itself based on a racist conspiracy theory.
