I am grateful to join my colleagues as we mourn the loss of life in Ruidoso, specifically El Pasoans Stephanie and Sebastian Trotter, who took their two children on vacation for some time away during the holiday. Their children were caught up in the flood before they knew it. Sebastian Rowan, 7 years old; Charlotte Emery, 4 years old; and their beloved dogs, Zeus and Ellie, lost their lives in the flood. The El Paso and Fort Bliss family grieves for them and grieves alongside everyone in Ruidoso. We keep them in our prayers.
