Troy Edwin Nehls is an American politician and member of the Republican Party, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 22nd congressional district since January 3, 2021. Nehls has a background in law enforcement, having served as the sheriff of Fort Bend County prior to his election to Congress. His legislative focus includes issues related to law enforcement, border security, and support for former President Donald Trump.
Just imagine if Congress opted to ban lobbyists from using bathrooms as you wait outside these committee rooms or offices.
Large airliners are forced to retire at the age of 65 because of an arbitrary rule passed by Congress.
I ask the committee to support my bill. Let experienced pilots fly, raising the age from 65 to 67.

Today's hearing will examine implementation of the Protecting Our Infrastructure of Pipelines and Enhancing Safety Act of 2020.
Safety of the public and the environment is our industry's top priority, and collaboration with PHMSA only strengthens our ability to transport our products across America with the fewest possible number of incidents.
I hope to renew the tradition of passing a bipartisan pipeline safety bill from this committee.
