I think this is simple stuff. I have never seen the country more focused on one -- one -- one need, and that is jobs.
Let me tell you, I know -- I will have to actually be covering it, I suppose, and analyzing it for CNN, so I can't do it, but I want a drinking game where, every time he says the word jobs, I get to have a beer.
This president has always looked for unity and always called for civility.
I think he mailed a powerful point that when these crises happen, we want to try to impose order on chaos.
But we also have a federal agriculture policy that has been driven by corporations and by corporate agriculture conglomerates, instead of small family farmers.
If we didn't have an agriculture policy, mostly fostered by Republicans, I have to say, that favors these giant corporate agribusiness combines, then our kids would be healthier.
The president personally lobbied on this in the most effective way. He didn't go out and make a big public statement about it.
The vital signs here are jobs. Can he create more jobs? We don't have enough jobs being created in this presidency.
