Paul Begala

He's being investigated in part because he fired the FBI director and he said, God bless him, he certainly fast up, he told NBC News I fired him because of this Russia thing.

The investigation has now entered the White House, and it's entered the Oval Office, it cannot be more central to Donald Trump than that.

The president is clearly under investigation.

This is going to be a colossal problem. But the folks who I feel are important are those who are peripheral, the people who helped the president drafted the statement that was so misleading about his son and son-in-law and Mr. Manafort's…

This is the beginning of the end. These are remarkable tactics, this is a remarkable situation. We've never before had at least allegations of foreign influence meddling in American election.

He hates Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan more than he hates Chuck Schumer.

I've been in touch with Democrats on the Hill. They think they're going to win on DACA.

The Democrats had a very weak hand. They don't control the House, don't control the Senate. They had a couple things going for them. Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi together, have 66 years of experience on the Hill.

He ran on. He was all over the map. He said, 'I love the Dreamers, nothing bad will happen to them.' So he's been incoherent.

The President has been bragging that unemployment is at a 16 year low. So it's kind of hard to make that case and to make that argument.

I think General Kelly is doing is very important. It's very important because the most important square foot of real estate on the planet is this, between the President's ears, what goes into that head, the most important person in the…

I think the comment about pardoning Sheriff Joe is a signal to the men and women who may be under investigation for Mr. Mueller.

There's no question in my mind and most people's mind, but for Putin, Hillary wins.

The American taxpayers don't pay for that wall he'll shut the government down.

The cardinal promise of his campaign was that Mexicans would pay for the wall.

He said I will never cut Medicaid. He tried to end Medicaid as we know it.

Donald Trump lies like we breathe.

The voters rejected him, the Electoral College elected him. He was rejected by the majority of Americans.

It's humbling to see the Heyer family at that service and the sacrifice they've laid on the altar of liberty.

They ought to be doing is holding hearings into the very real threat that we face by this emboldened and empowered White Nationalist alt-right movement.

White Supremacists are emboldened and Congressional Republicans emasculated.

This is no longer Republican versus Democrat. This is Nazis versus Americans. This is freedom verse fascism. And the moral blindness that our president show willful moral blindness today was unlike anything ever seen in American politic.

You better be really careful about your words, especially about those forces.

But this notion that now we should have a military option there, this whole thing is a potential national security policy.

Even people like me are going to salute President Trump for that.
