I would propose for the committee to consider the allowance of funding to enhance collaborative training of health care professionals in our efforts to identify and intervene on behalf of these victims.
I am grateful that we are going to do it in a bipartisan manner based on heart and love and the values of this great Nation.
I am proud to cosponsor my friend and colleague, Congressman Ted Poe--his one bill, the End Sex Slavery Act, and his second one, Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act.
This human trafficking hearing has exposed slavery and human trafficking and smuggling, and we have said one thing. You are all the same and we are going to get you.
Let us touch somebody and say that you are valuable and I will not view you in any other way than the valuable person that you are.
I want to first take this opportunity to commend the Houston Police Department.
